KAFE Cutest Critter MATERIAL TERMS
KAFE 104.1 is looking for the CUTEST critters! Visit www.KAFE.com, register for UPICKEM, and submit a photo of your family pets between midnight on March 9th and 11:59pm March 22nd. All pictures should be taken within the past 6 months and feature at least one pet. If you miss the deadline you cannot qualify. There is no limit to the number of pets that can be in each entry. One entry per person. Multiple entries by a person will invalidate all entries made by that individual. To submit an entry, you must register and agree to terms for UPICKEM through www.KAFE.com and provide all applicable contact information during the registration process. Entries containing inappropriate photos will be disqualified, to be judged in the sole discretion of KAFE. Any photograph submitted to KAFE will become the property of KAFE and may be used in any manner it feels appropriate in the future. By entering this contest you are verifying that you are the owner and producer of the submitted material and that no third party ownership rights exist to the photo submitted.
At approximately 8:15am on March 23rd, one winner will be randomly drawn and announced at 8:45am on KAFE by a station staff member to win a HUGE prize package, with a total approximate retail value of $425, consisting of:
-$250 Gift Card to Borthwick Jewelry, 1730 LaBounty Drive #5, Ferndale, WA|
-$50 Gift Card to Laurel Farm & Western Supply, 325 W. Laurel Rd., Bellingham, WA
-$50 Gift Basket including a Dog Wash at Shake & Shine Canine Wash & Deli, 1501 N. State St., Bellingham, WA
-A Party Pack for 12 including: a six-foot sub, 12 bags of chips, and a dessert tray from any Port of Subs in Bellingham, Tulalip, Mill Creek, or Mountlake Terrace. Approximate retail value: $75.
Winner will also be notified by telephone on March 23, 2015. No purchase necessary. KAFE’s Sole responsibility will be to award the prize. KAFE will have no further responsibility in connection with the prize if the prize winner, for any reason, cannot or decides not to use any of the prizes. Winner will be responsible for any applicable federal and state taxes. Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
KAFE contests are open to all eligible US Citizens, residing in Washington state, age 18 or older, that have not won anything on KAFE in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.
Employees of KAFE, Saga Broadcasting, LLC dba Cascade Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the KAFE main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
We will make reasonable efforts to award prizes within 30 days after winning. Prizes can be claimed during regular business hours at the Cascade Radio Group offices, 2219 Yew Street Rd., Bellingham, WA, 98229. UPICKEM RULES
No purchase necessary. One valid entry per contestant.
You must be 18 years of age or older at time of entry to be eligible for this contest. This contest is void where prohibited by law.
Winners will be notified by email. If a winner is unreachable after seven (7) days, or if that winner is unavailable for prize fulfillment, an alternate winner will be selected. If KAFE-FM cannot find an eligible winner for the prize, that prize will not be awarded.
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Automated voting of any kind is not allowed. Detection of said automated voting will lead to votes being voided.
Only one registered account per voter. If multiple accounts are detected for a single voter, they will be disabled and votes disqualified.
KAFE-FM reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value.
KAFE-FM reserves the right to restrict the local winners to only persons whose primary residence is within a 100 mile radius of the affiliate's' office.
Employees of KAFE-FM, its respective parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising sponsors and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of each are not eligible.
Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the contest commissioners, which are final on all matters pertaining to the contest.
Entrants further grant to KAFE-FM the right to use and publish their proper name and state online and in print, or any other media, in connection with the Contest.
KAFE-FM reserves the right to use any and all information related to the Contest, including information on contestants obtained through the contest, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.
The Contest and all of the related pages, contents and code are copyright, UPICKEM, and/or KAFE-FM. Copying or unauthorized use of any copyrighted materials, trademarks or any other intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.
Each winner, by acceptance of the prize, agrees to release all Sponsors, and their parent and subsidiary companies, their officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and advertising agencies from all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize.
UPICKEM and KAFE-FM are not responsible for Internet crashes or slowdowns caused by network congestion, viruses, sabotage, satellite failures, phone line failures, electrical outages, natural disasters or acts of man or God.
All results posted are unofficial until winners respond to e-mail notification.
Each winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes and will be required to complete an IRS form W-9. Sponsor reserves the right to withhold prizes until completed form W-9 is received.
This contest is not intended for gambling. If it is determined that a contestant is using the contest for gambling purposes they will be disqualified and reported to authorities.
